Nancy Paul-Hupin, Winner of the Daniel Guinier Award 2018
Our post-doctoral researcher Nancy Paul-Hupin (Metrology of Simple Systems and Fundamental Tests), was awarded the Daniel Guinier 2018 SFP prize for her doctoral thesis “First spectroscopy of 110Zr with MINOS” (Magic Numbers Off Stability). Conducted at CEA-Saclay under the direction of Alexandre Obertelli (TU Darmstadt in Germany), Nancy Paul-Hupin studied neutron-rich nuclei produced by fragmentation reactions at RIBF (Radioactive Ion Beam Factory) in Japan.
The prize will be given at the next RJP (Rencontres jeunes physiciens), on 29 November 2019, at the Collège de France in Paris.
