Two LKB members win ERC 2022 grants

Julien Laurat and Quention Glorieux, two members of the Laboratoire Kastler Brossel, have been awarded prestigious ERC grants.

Julien Laurat, a researcher in the LKB’s Quantum Optics team, has just been awarded an ERC Advanced grant for his NanoAtom (Quantum Optical Physics with Neutral-Atom Waveguide-QED) project. ERC Advanced Grants are awarded to researchers who have already made essential contributions and are proposing a pioneering project in their field of research.

Quentin Glorieux, a researcher in the LKB’s Quantum Optics team, has just been awarded an ERC Consolidator Grant for his project MISTiQ-Light (Mott Insulator Transition in a Quantum Fluid of Light). ERC Consolidator Grants are awarded to researchers with highly promising scientific results and with 7-12 years of experience since completion of PhD.
