The authors propose an experimentally feasible implementation of the 1D topological Su-Schrieffer-Heeger (SSH) model in coupled one-dimensional acoustic nanoresonators working in the gigahertz-terahertz range. The authors show how to construct topological edge and interface states in this system and propose an experimental scheme to directly probe their spatial complex amplitude distribution by optical pump-probe techniques.
