Journées de la matière condensée 2022, Lyon, 22-26 août 2022

We are very pleased to announce that the next “Journées de la Matière Condensée” (JMC2022) will host the mini-colloquium “Optomechanics and Electromechanics: Physics and Applications” (Mini-colloquium MC15). The JMCs are one of the most prominent, biennal meeting in the French condensed matter community, and will take place in summer time in Lyon, 22-26 August 2022.

With this mini-colloquium, we intend to bring together young researchers from the field of optomechanics and electromechanics, including (but not limited to) ultra-sensitive interferometry, classical and quantum statistical physics, thermodynamics of levitated systems, quantum hybrid systems, near-field interactions, NEMS-MEMS devices, quantum devices for information technology and nanomechanical sensing. More details can be found online.

One of our aims is to exhibit the interdisciplinary nature of the field and its potential to extend to other disciplines, so please do not hesitate to apply online to our mini-colloqium (MC15), should your topic be related to our research themes.

More information, including the names of our confirmed invited speakers, will be soon disclosed. We hope to see you in number in Lyon!

The organizers,

Anne Louchet-Chauvet, Signe Seidelin, Ludovic Bellon and Pierre Verlot
