LKB - Optical Imaging in biogical and complex media

Dr. Claudio Moretti

Dr. Claudio Moretti

Short Bio: Claudio Moretti obtained his master’s degree in physics at the University of Padova (Italy) in 2012. He then moved to Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia to further investigate the use of optical approaches in neuroscience, and defended his Ph.D. in 2016 on wavefront engineering for neuroscience applications, under the supervision of Dr. Tommaso Fellin. Since 2017 he is a postdoc in the group of prof. Sylvain Gigan, where he focused his research on the development of approaches for functional imaging through highly scattering tissues. In general, he is trying to let neuroscience stop worrying and learn to love scattering.
